At Body Inspired Fitness, we
also specialize in fitness for kids and teens! These days it is getting harder and
harder for parents to get their kids to exercise. And despite the
growing health risks, we are doing very little to reverse these dangerous
trends. That is why Angela Parker created the ONLY fitness program
that is specifically designed for kids and teens of all ages We
offer at-home customized workouts for your children, specially tailored
to their individual needs. Our unique programs tap into what your
children enjoy to create motivational sessions that keep them having
fun, while learning about the many benefits of exercise.
Not only do we focus on getting
your kids physically healthy, but our sessions also help raise
self-esteem, giving kids a healthy, positive body image. And more
importantly, they see that success is possible with a little hard
work. Our sessions can help boost your child's confidence and help
them to achieve their goals. Our program will improve your child's
quality of life both mentally and physically, and they will experience
the benefits for the rest of their lives!
Trained by Angela, who has extensive
experience working with kids in every way imaginable, Body
Inspired trainers help
children build habits and learn routines that they will keep with
them forever. And unlike in a class setting, where kids can find
themselves one of ten or fifteen students, we provide a safe, comfortable,
and secure setting for individual learning, where exercise and
healthy living are not just talked about, but incorporated into
their daily lives.

Childhood Obesity
Our children are facing a serious problem, a real threat
to their health and well-being. Childhood obesity is at an all-time
high, and if unchecked, can lead to serious health risks both now
and in their futures as adults, not to mention the poor body image
and lack of self-esteem and self-confidence that often shadow overweight
children.
This problem is real, and growing. According
to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)'s National
Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, 17.5% of children between
the ages of 6 and 11 are overweight. That's almost 5 million children,
under the age of 12. If that wasn't scary enough, that figure is
a more than 400% increase for children of the same age in the mid
'70s. And it is expected that 50% of these young people, and 70%
of their slightly older counterparts (12-17) will continue to carry
that weight, becoming obese and overweight adults. In 2002, the American
people spent approximately $92 billion dollars on obesity-related
medical expenses, and the U.S. Surgeon General estimates that there
300,000 deaths a year in this country, associated with obesity.
What's the solution? EXERCISE. The
CDC reports that more than 33% of children aged 14-17 do not engage
in physical activity vigorous enough to even maintain weight, much
less lose it. And attendance in physical education classes all
over the country is down about 20%. Why? Because for most of us,
P.E. was never fun. It's awkward, it's embarrassing, it can be
down right humiliating. Especially for a child who is already overweight.
In our Kids + Teens Fitness program,
our trainers will come into your home, where you child feels most
safe and secure, and will work one-on-one with them to lose the
weight, build confidence and self-esteem, show them that they CAN
achieve their goals and ambitions. We make working out FUN, so
your child will want to put in the work and stick with it. Working
